Roberto de Nola’s Libre del Coch is an extremely rare book with the copy held by the Hispanic Society being the only surviving exemplar of the 1578 edition or reprint. The first edition was published in 1520, of which, again, there is only one known surviving copy, this one held by the Library of Catalonia. Between 1520 and 1578 it was probably edited or reprinted 7 times, but of these issues, some have been entirely lost or only a few imperfect copies survive. The only exception is an exemplar of the 1568 edition held by the Library of Catalonia. The copy owned by the Hispanic Society is probably a reprint of the 1568 edition with few changes. The book is more common in Spanish.
